Skitouring Martelltal

Arrival
After adam arrived we had some nice "kapustnica" for the lunch and fired the car direction Martelltal. It was clearing slowly and we reached the hut in fog about 6 pm.

Cima Marmotta, 3330 m.n.m
Beautiful sunrise and first view of the panorama. We choosed the easiest route over Hohenferner. Above 3000 powder and below crust.
Cima Cevedale (Zufallspitzen), 3757 m.n.m
Perfect tour over Fürkelferner to the top of Zufallspitzen. Fast changing clouds didn't allow us to see Piz Bernina. The skiing was cool anyway! Unfortunately Adam broke his Dynafit binding a bit out of the ski in the gully terrain, but guys will bring him another ski.

Rest & Carry
Second part of our group arrived in the snowing night and we went to help them with the stuff and food. Hot in the afternoon, but not so wrong for the powder.
Monte Cevedale, 3769 m.n.m
This time we choosed pretty flat zufallferner to reach Mt. Cevedale. The views were fantastic! Strong wind was blowing on the edge, but we finally saw Piz Bernina, Grossglockner, Adamello etc. Second time down the Fürkelferner was even more excited with 30 cm powder and almost untracked :-)

Cima Madriccio, 3265 m.n.m
Sunny eastern side was promising firn in the afternoon and hot too hot. It was, but the view of Gran Zebru and Ortler was worth it.

Terza Cima Venezia, 3356 m.n.m
Fed up of hot and firn, we looked for powder and shadow near Hintere Schranspitze (Punta Martello) and we found it! First time we did the peak with smooth skiing and second time we skied down from Dritte Veneziaspitze over the steep side of Schranferner glacier full of powder, unbelievabe!

Goodbye with the same tour as the beginning, but ascent over steeper glacier (Hohenferner) north of the hut. Two times the best pow part did the finish, excelent!
